Rebranding is one of the quickest and easiest ways to get your own product online and earning money. Rebranding is where you take a PLR (Private Label Rights) product and change it so it becomes almost a completely different product. You then add your name to it and create a sales page and market it as your product.
In the following instance we are going to look at rebranding a report or as they used to be called an Ebook. The first step you need to do is to find or buy a PLR product. PLR stands for Private Label Rights, and gives you the right to do anything with the product that you want to. Basically you have ownership of the product.
The first thing you need to do to rebrand any item is to make sure that you have a text version of the PDF. You need to read through the report and remove all of the filling. This is the paragraphs or in some cases whole pages of rubbish that has nothing to do with showing the reader how to use the report to achieve what they hoped to achieve from the report. So if the report is about how to give up smoking, purchasers do not want to hear about all the techniques that the author tried, or about how many times they have tried to quit smoking.
What people want is the information you said they would get by purchasing the report and they want it straight away. When you are carrying out this stage you need to look for places you can put your own links into the report. So if you have an affiliate link for another stop smoking report or product, look to get that in there as a hyperlink. If you run your own blog or site then get your url in there somewhere.
On the front cover of the report it will normally have a graphic and then underneath the title and authors name. Make sure that you put your name there, and at the end of the book where you will normally have the conclusion sign off with your name and your own site or blog’s URL. Once you are happy with the PDF take a 10 minute break then go back and proof read it slowly and carefully.
Once you are happy with the document always, always run a spell checker over the document. When you have done that all you have to do is create a PDF document from it. There are many free PDF creators online you can download. The next step is to check the sales page that usually comes with most PLR products these days.
Make sure the headline grabs you, if it does not you will need to rewrite it. Make sure that the first letter of every word in the headline starts with a capital letter and that the headline is in red text. You should aim for about 15 – 30 words in the headline. You can make the product more worth buying by including bonuses so add then to the sales page.
If the sales page does not have a money back guarantee you need to make sure you add one. This gives potential customers more confidence in buying, as they know they can get their money back if they are not happy with the product. The last part is to add your own payment button to the page. Do not forget to add your name to the sales page and again proof read it and then run a spell checker over it.
All you need to do now is upload the sales page and the product to your hosting account and you are ready to start making money
